*We had 1.01 a couple of years ago.
My brother came to visit for the weekend and having flown here he hired a car. H e booked a Golf sized manual but in the event wound up with a seven seater, diesel, automatic Peugeot 5008. Which brings us to a French peculiarity.
Voici un Peu geot 5008. Il est un garç on . ( Here is a Peugeot 5008. He is a boy.)
Mais.... (but)
Voici une 508. Elle est une fille. (Here is a 508. She is a girl)
Yes, that’s right. When PSA’s EMP2 platform is used to make a 5008 rather than a 508 it undergoes a sex change.
Not many know that.

As a French, I had never thought of that. That being said, the 5008 is un monospace (um... cooler term for minivan?)
, whereas the 508 is une berline (a sedan)
